Amy Nicole Otis passed away on February 8, 2021 in Greenville, Texas at the age of 37. Amy was born in Longview, Texas to Billy Otis and Simone House on January 22, 1984.

Amy was a loving, caring and devoted mother. She was a wonderful daughter, sister, and aunt. She would find great energy in meeting people, ready and willing to help anyone. You could count on getting a “heck, yeah” from Amy when she was excited. She had a “light up the room” smile and a warm, caring personality who kept a positive attitude.

She enjoyed going fishing, and loved going to pick pecans. She really loved family vacations at Beavers Bend.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents; uncle, Jerry Wayne Otis; nephew, Ricardo Castillo.

Amy is survived by her father, Billy Otis and wife Darlene of Pensacola, Florida; mother, Simone House of Savoy, Texas; sons, Preston Lee Otis, Anthony Clu Otis, Jason Alexander Otis; daughter, Kamila Dawn Otis all of Texas; brother, Brandon Otis and wife Nobu of Sanford, Florida; sister, Melissa Wages of Bonham, Texas; sister, Andrea Pope of Denver, Colorado; brothers, Bryan Otis and wife Trish of Jackson, Alabama, James Nelson of Ruskin, Florida, Christopher Nelson of Jackson, Alabama; sister, Victoria Nelson of Tampa Bay, Florida; along with many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Friday, February 12, 2021 at 10AM at Mullican Little Funeral Home Chapel 754 State Hwy 56 E. Bells, Texas 75414. Due to Covid -19, masks will be required at the memorial service. Social distancing is requested. Arrangements are with Mullican-Little Funeral Home, Bells, Texas. An online registry may be signed at www.mullicanlittle.com

  I count my self extremely lucky to count Amy as a best friend. My only complaint is that the time I got to spend as her partner in crime was too short. After she moved back to TX I missed her badly, honestly don’t know anyone here(VA) who knew her who didn’t miss her. She just naturally drew people in. My deepest condolences to her family. Ill always remember our dumb stunts and trips, Ill never forget you! I love and miss you always! Fly High Girlie!
