February 22, 1960 –  February 9, 2010 Anita Carolyn Hawthorne passed away February 9, 2010 at her residence in Sherman, surrounded by her loving family. Anita was born in Bonham, the daughter of Howard Green and Margarette Kennedy Green. She married Larry Hawthorne December 5, 2009 in Savoy, Texas.Funeral services for Anita will be at 1:00 P.M.Saturday at the Hebron Baptist Church, north of Bells with interment in Hebron Cemetery. Rev. Houston Garner of the church will officiate.
Anita attended Sherman schools and worked as a seamstress and a nurses’ aide.
Pallbearers will be Silvesta Hamilton, Corey Roder, Christopher Roder, Stephen Green, Jr., Eric Dunkle and Jeremy Dunkle.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 -8:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.
