Anna Jean (Green) Brannum of Sherman, Texas passed away June 1, 2019, at the age of 81. She was born March 1, 1938 to Jack Green and Annie Ellen (Butler) Green in Foreman, Arkansas. She came to Texas with her parents following her dad’s work in the oilfield.

Anna worked in various jobs across the years and it was at King’s Bakery in Sherman, she met Byron, a coworker. They married on November 11, 1978 in Oklahoma. She was a loving wife and mother, taking care of her family was a priority. She ran a tight ship and kept an immaculate house. She enjoyed the outdoors, and especially liked camping, fishing and watching her feeders for hummingbirds. She loved gardening and growing flowers. Anna fiercely loved her husband, children, and especially her grandchildren. She loved a “full house” when all the family was together. She leaves a legacy of love, affection and respect. She will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her husband, Byron Brannum of Sherman; daughter, Cathie Tribble and husband George of Luella; son, Robert Bishop of Sherman; daughter, Sabrina Williams of Sherman; daughter, Destiny Mealer and husband Roy of Randolph; son, Dusty and wife Ana of Arlington; grandson, Michael Tribble and wife Regina of Sherman; granddaughter, Brandi Davis and husband Steve of Tom Bean; granddaughter, Ashley Mathre and husband Michael of Denison; granddaughter, Alex Maniet and husband Dr. Bruce Maniet of Bells; granddaughter, Alicia Raymond and husband Jeff of Allen; grandson, Zackary Martin of McKinney; grandsons, Maximo Brannum, Bradley Brannum and Dante Brannum, all of Arlington; eleven great grandchildren along with several cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Annie Green; son, Thomas Jack Bishop; grandson, Jason Williams; sister, Jewel Boatner and sister, Lena Bell Hadley.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at Cedar Cemetery in Luella, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Tuesday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Mullican-Little Funeral Home, 754 State Hwy 56 East, Bells, Texas 75414.
