Forever in our hearts, until we see you again
Born November 14, 1963, in Warrensburg, Missouri, to Darrell Dean Witt and Janan Fay (Sipes) Staub, Bradley Todd Witt passed peacefully from natural causes on September 7, 2025.
The youngest of five boys, Brad grew up surrounded by family and deep love. In time, he prayed to God for a wife, and that prayer was beautifully answered when he married the love of his life, Beverly Jane (Harris) Witt, on August 10, 1991. Together, they built a marriage rooted in love and joy, sharing 34 years as best friends and soulmates.
Brad was a proud father to Brittney Janan Witt (Lauren Morris) and Bethany Taylor (Witt) Manning (Tylar Manning), and a loving bonus dad to his nephew, Quinton. Among all the titles Brad carried in life, the one that lit him up most was “Grandpa Goose.” To his grandson, Maverick Manning, he was more than a grandfather, he was his copilot. He was cherished by his nieces, nephews, cousins, bonus children, friends, neighbors, and co-workers. He was known as steady yet stubborn, witty and fiercely loyal. Brad was the man who could make his people laugh until their bellies ached, and who blessed everyone around him with his vibrant, full-of-life spirit.
By trade, he was a skilled auto mechanic who took pride in his work and loved the rumble of a well-built engine. His hard work to support his family never went unnoticed, for he always wanted the best for them. He found joy in muscle cars, golf, guns, and a deep love for music—singing and dancing with his family. His favorite times were spent with Beverly and their fur babies throughout the years, currently Blakely and Bailey, as well as in laughter-filled moments with family and friends. Brad especially enjoyed golfing with Don Reid and sharing time with dear friends Brian, Ann, Melissa Coleman, and Kelly and Robert Abbott.
Brad’s memory continues to live on in the hearts of those who loved him deeply: his wife, Beverly; daughters, Brittney and Bethany; grandson, Maverick; mother, Janan Fay (Sipes) Staub; father, Lawrence Lee Staub; brothers, Mark (Teresa) Witt, Clark (Shirley) Witt, and Brian Witt; as well as his in-laws and extended family who adored him, including Jennifer (Ryan) Kroon, Ronald (Babette) Harris, Laura Harris, Elizabeth (Mark) Pacheco, Connie (Luke) Apps, and his bonus mom-in-law, Julie (Zalud Harris) Loughmiller. He shared a special bond with his Uncle Floyd Edward “Tony” (Fanitta) Sipes and Aunt Junis Loveen “June” (Lee) Bowles.
Those greeting him in heaven include his father, Darrell Dean Witt; brother, Jeffrey Alan Witt; uncles, Bodean “Bo” William Sipes and Robert “Bob” Dale Sipes; father-in-law, Ronald William Harris; mother-in-law, Elaine Ann (Harris) Hofmann; bonus father-in-law, Andrew “Andy” Hofmann; and his cousin-in-law, Robert “Roberto” Abbott.
Brad’s presence will be deeply missed, but his legacy of love, laughter, and loyalty will carry on in every life he touched.
Brad met Beverly and asked her to dance many times, and though she refused at first, he persisted until she finally took his hand onto the dance floor. That dance continued for 38 years as they raised two beautiful daughters. Their love only grew stronger as life unfolded with dancing, singing, cracking jokes, and simply enjoying their time together.
Forever and always, Bradley, I love you.
Beverly
In keeping with Brad’s wishes, his family and friends will honor his life not with a somber gathering, but with a joyful celebration filled with laughter, stories, and love. He asked that when his time on earth was complete, we remember him with a big party in his name. Brad believed life was meant to be cherished, not mourned, and his spirit will be best honored in the smiles, music, and togetherness he so deeply loved. Details about the celebration will be shared at a later date.
He was a good friend and our good times will be missed. Especially the good ole four wheeler trips
