Carlito Atchley was born to Clay Atchley and Donna Trail in Denison, Texas on May 12, 2009. He passed from this life on March 8, 2026, on the outskirts of his hometown of Bells, Texas. He was a great-grandson, grandson, son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend to many.

He enjoyed many things such as fishing on the Choctaw Creek, building forts in the woods at his Meme’s house in Cherry Mound, and living life on the edge. He loved riding dirt bikes, four wheelers, skateboarding, laughing, and picking on his little brothers and sisters. Carlito loved everybody exactly as they were, nobody needed to change to be his friend or be considered “good enough” and once you were his friend you were considered family.

He was preceded in death by his great-great grandparents, Lee and Allene Hannah. His great-grandparents, Hugh Gene and Neva Atchley. Grandfathers, Lonnie Charles Atchley and Ricky Lee Trail.

He is survived by his parents, Clay Atchley and Donna Trail; and younger siblings, Gabriel, Heaven, and Phoenix Atchley of Durant, Oklahoma. His older brother Hector Atchley and fiancé Marleigh and nephew Oliver of Sherman, Texas. He is also survived by great-grandmother, Delores Stanley of Bells, Texas and grandmothers Sherry Trail “Meme” of Denison, Texas and Judy Hernandez of Savoy, Texas. His uncle, Richard Garnsey of Ambrose, Texas, uncle Harold and wife Danielle of Denison, Texas; uncle Michael Atchley of Whitesboro, Texas, uncle Gary Denman and wife Jade of Kingsley, Iowa. Aunt Holly Denman of Durant, Oklahoma, uncle Marcus Picou of Durant, Oklahoma, aunt Marianna Picou of Hammond, Louisiana and many cousins. As well as his extended family, the Naler and Peden families both of Bells, Texas.

His family and friends will be gathering at Mullican Little Funeral Home on Saturday March 14, 2026 at 11:00 A.M. His funeral service will start at 12:00 P.M. and immediately following will be transported to Hebron Cemetery to be laid to rest.

Carlito will be carried his final journey on this earth by his immediate family. Pallbearers will be Clay Atchley, Donna Trail, Hector, Gabriel, Heaven, and Phoenix Atchley. Honorary pallbearers will be Jensin Naler and Adam Peden.

Gone but never forgotten!
