September 14, 1941 –  June 17, 2016 Carolyn Stanford Walker Salley was born on September 14, 1941 in Dallas, TX to Lloyd and Beth Walker. She married Thomas Salley on October 11, 1958 in Ardmore, OK. She died Friday, June 17, 2016 in Whitewright, TX at the age of 74. Carolyn retired from Texas Instruments/Raytheon after 20+ years and later retired from United American Insurance Company.
She is survived by son James Salley and wife Tish of Somerset, WI, daughter Aleta Whipple and husband Carl of Whitewright, grandchildren Heather Salley of Plymouth, MN, Brandon Salley and wife Megan of Stillwater, MN and Haley Salley of Somerset, WI, step-mother Hazel Walker of Maybank, sister Joyce Noack and husband Clarence of Farmers Branch.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Salley, parents, step-father James Stanford, brothers James and L. D. Walker.

The family will receive friends at the Mullican-Little Funeral Home in Bells/Savoy, Texas on Wednesday, June 22, from 6:00 – 8:00pm.
