May 19, 1936 –  February 8, 2011 Funeral services for Celestina “Sally” Sanchez are scheduled for Saturday, February 12, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at the Savoy United Pentecostal Church with family visitation at the church on Friday night from 7-9 P.M. Reverend Virgil Cornwell of the church will be conducting the service with interment at Rose Hill Cemetery in Bells.
Celestina was born May 19, 1936 in Karnes City, Texas and passed from this life on February 8, 2011 at her home in Savoy, Texas. Sally was preceded in death by her husband Alexander B. Sanchez and her parents. She is survived by her five children and two step-daughters; Seferino Mendez, Jr. of Mesquite, David Mendez of Ladonia, Diana Ramos of San Marcos, Cindye’ Dodd of Leonard, Linda Brown of Savoy, Diane Rivera of Red Oak, and Rosemary Gonzalez of Lancaster. She is also survived by numerous loving granchildren and great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers are; Michael Nicholson, Kevin Connors, Shane Kepley, Jonatha Mendez, Monty Stanley and Geron Simpson.
