June 26, 1948 –  August 13, 2016 Delores Orozco Herd was called home by our Heavenly Father on August 13, 2016.Delores was born on June 26, 1948 in Trenton, Texas to parents, Pascual and Maria Orozco. From a young age she loved to cook. She graduated from Trenton High School in 1966. There she enjoyed playing basketball, and met Roger Herd at a skating rink. They married February 11, 1966 in Trenton, Texas. Delores was a child care provider for many years before becoming a CNA. She worked as a CNA at Clyde Casper, enjoyed working as a cashier at Walmart, and ended her career practicing home health care. She loved to create delicious meals for her family, reading, and crafting. But her ultimate passion was caring for people. She attended church at Living Word Church of God, and was a devout Christian.
She is survived by her husband Roger Herd, their children Roger Lee Herd JR and wife Maraya Herd, Terresa and husband Scott Anderson, and Janna and husband Berrett Webb. As well as seven grandchildren: Natashia, Hailey, Isabella, Empress, Andre, Garrett, Trey and great grandchild Taylor. And her siblings: brother Emelio Orozco, sisters Yolanda Guerra, Rosa Martinez, and Sonia Brown. And many more family members.
There will be a family visitation held from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday August 17, 2016 at Mullican-Little Funeral Chapel in Bells/Savoy. The funeral service, officiated by Pulpit Minister Eliseo Hinojos, will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday August 18, 2016 at the funeral home. There will be a gathering following the funeral services Thursday August 18, 2016, it will be held in Trenton, Texas at a site announced after the gravesite services. If you would like to assist the family you may bring a dish to share at the gathering.

II Corinthians 5:6-8 So we are always of good courage. We know that while we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord, for we walk by faith, not by sight. Yes, we are of good courage, and we would rather be away from the body and at home with the Lord.
