Earlene Price passed away on February 12, 2023 at Texoma Medical Center in Denison, Texas at the age of 84. She was born in Anna, Texas to James Burris and Wyona (Bush) Burris on January 15, 1939 as the oldest of three children.

She married Doyle Price on April 14, 1961 in Paris, Texas and they made their home in Savoy.  Earlene was a retired bookkeeper who worked at various different businesses.  She thoroughly enjoyed her family, especially her grandchildren and loved to bring them snacks.

One of her and Doyle’s favorite things to do was go to Branson, Missouri for a few days and go to the many shows.  Earlene also loved all things Elvis and was so happy when she got to visit Graceland several years ago.  She also loved her many dogs she had throughout the years and treated them as family members. Earlene was a faithful member of First Baptist Church, Savoy and spent many years teaching Sunday School to the children.

Earlene was preceded in death by her parents, James and Wyona Burris; husband, Doyle Price; brother, Edward Burris; brother-in-law, Jerry Hope; and in-laws, Frank and Edna Price.

She is survived by her son, Andy Hartline and wife Tammy of Bells; daughter, Sandy Cheek and husband Sam of Celina; granddaughters, Andrea Van Horn and husband Shane of Bells, Peyton Folks and Presley Cheek of Celina; grandsons, Jake Hartline and wife Roni of Bells, Noah Cheek of Celina; great granddaughters, Jalen Hartline of Sherman and MaKenna Hartline of Bells; and great grandson, Easton Hartline of Bells. sister; Donna Hope of Bonham; nieces, Tammy Snow of Savoy, Suzanne Hope of Howe, Deanne Clark of Bonham, nephew, Eddie Burris of Savoy; and many great nieces with whom she was close.

Graveside services will be on Saturday February 25, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Sunnyside Cemetery, Savoy, Texas.
