October 28, 1950 –  March 20, 2015 Ernest Philip Pike was born October 28, 1950 in Sherman, Texas. Philip was the son of Ernest Everett Pike and Anna Barbara Odonnell Pike. He married Mary Katherine Grace on March 29, 1977.
He was a 1969 graduate of Savoy High School. After graduating at Savoy he entered the United States Navy and served in Viet Nam as a medic. Philip was a nurse assistant at the Bonham Veterans Hospital and then was a fireman and E.M.T. for the Sherman Fire Department for 14 years and after working there he worked for Mueller Construction and Monitor.

Philip was always willing to help and do for others even after his illness. He was a friend and neighbor to everyone.

After a lengthy illness he passed away March 20, 2015 at Texoma Medical Center.

A visitation for family and friends will be on Monday, March 23, 2015 from 7:00PM until 8:00PM at Mullican-Little Funeral Home in Bells/Savoy, Texas.

His wife Mary Katherine Pike of Savoy, son Shanon Dale Christopher of Sherman, daughter Christian Pike of Van Alstyne and several nieces and nephews survive Philip. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Nancy Ann Wilson and grandson Dakota Wayne Christopher.
