March 22, 1927 –  September 3, 2010 Mr. Chism was a member of the First Baptist Church in Whitewright, Texas and had retired from Brown & Root Construction Co. after 32 years as a heaavy equipement operator. He is survived by his daughter and her husband Brenda & Doyle Thompson, his wife of 48 years Marie Chism, brother and his wife Jim & Carlene Chism, sister Merriel Jones, grandchildren Jeff & Camille Thompson and Heather Thompson, great grandchildren Bryce & Brant Thompson.
