April 28, 1928 –  October 2, 2016 Gene Knox formerly of Bells passed away Sunday in Pampa Regional Hospital in Pampa, Texas. Graveside services will be held at 2:00PM Tuesday at Whittaker Cemetery in Gunter, Texas. Reverend Charles Lowry will officiate.
Gene was born on April 28, 1928 in Gunter, Texas to William and Mary Lee Payne. She married Jack Knox on April 23, 1949 in Sherman, Texas.

Gene is survived by son Tommy Jack Knox, and daughters Carolyn Martin and Sandra Ritch, 13 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 10:00AM until 11:30AM Tuesday at Mullican-Little Funeral Home in Bells/Savoy, Texas.
