July 29, 1944 –  August 13, 2016 Harold Dwight Pinkston Jr., 72, died Saturday, August 13th at the Terrace in Denison of complications related to Alzheimers. Survived by his wife of 47 years, Vicki (Dodson) Pinkston “but they had their dance for the rest of their lives;” his daughters Toni Gafford and husband Adam, Staci Otto and husband Ryan; his son Brad Pinkston and wife BJ; sisters Linda Woodard, Tina Graham, Sandy Salluaao and Karen Holle, brother Bobby Pinkston and nine grandchildren—Jake, Grant, Andrew Applegate; Reilly and Finley Otto; Aaron and Tayla Pinkston, Tasha and Marquita Guerra; and one great grandchild Sebastian.
Born in Sherman, the son of Harold and Jean Pinkston, Dwight served in the Air Force from 1964-68 as Chief Loadmaster. He was a loving husband, father, Grandfather and friend who enjoyed spending time with his grandkids and fixing things for others. Vicki is quite sure that Dwight has already begun working in Heaven.
Family visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 16th from 6:00PM until 8:00PM at Mullican-Little Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10:00 AM at the funeral home.
Pallbearers for the service will be Monty Woodard, Steve Graham, Francesco Salluzzo, Rod Holle, James Thompson, Aaron Hamilton , and honorary pallbearer Logan Nelson.
