May 31, 1925 –  October 11, 2011 Memorial services for Harry Amos Jernigan, 86 year old former Bells resident will be held at 11:00 A.M., Friday at Mullican-Little Chapel in Bells. Reverend Jason Sadler, grandson-in-law, will officiate. Burial will be done privately at Rose Hill Cemetery in Bells prior to the service.
Mr. Jernigan was born May 31, 1925 in Bells, Texas to parents, Virgil and Amber (Parker) Jernigan. He graduated from Bells High School and married Myrtle Frances Thompson who preceded him in death. He served his country in the United States Navy, was retired from the United States Postal Service and was an Antique Collector and Dealer. He lived much of his life in the Metroplex, but had lived in Grand Saline with his daughter and her husband for the past few years.

Mr. Jernigan is survived by his daughter, Charlotte Reagan and her husband Randy of Grand Saline; brother, Jerry Jernigan of Ovilla, TX.; three sisters, Martha Warren and Gene (Imogene)Blackburn both of Arlington, TX, and Valeta Vineyard of Ennis, TX.; two grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
