July 4, 1924 –  July 15, 2016 ECTOR – Imogene Sells passed away Friday, July 15, 2016 at the Mullican Care Center in Savoy. Imogene was a very active member of the Ector Baptist Church and spent 40 years caring for the little ones in the church nursery. Her family felt that Proverbs 31 described her perfectly. She was an excellent seamstress, and delighted in helping women look their best in the clothing she made for them while providing extra money for her household. She was an exceptional cook and prepared the best meals in the world for her family.
Imogene was born July 4, 1924 in Gober, Texas to parents, Willie Call and Willie (Williams) Call. She married Shirley Arney Sells on June 10, 1946. She is survived by son, Richard Sells and Sherrie of Ector; three daughters, Shirley Gene and Rande Jones, Barbara Sells, Betty Burks and Kenny; two brothers, Royce Call and Sue, John Wayne Call and Ann; six sisters Loyce Murley, Thelma Stalcup and Bob, Sophia Lansdell, Nancy Alexander and Donald, Retha Owens and Dolten, and Carolyn Johnson and Jimmy. She is also survived by her seven precious grandchildren, Rande Jones and Lauri, Dylan Anglin, Heather Harris and Bo, Amanda Williams and Jerry, Mack Sells and Jordan, Kristina Shahan and Nick, and Kevin Burks; as well as eight great grandchildren Mallori and Miranda Jones, Kyleigh Anglin, Nathan Harris, Allyson Harris, Bradley Williams, Jaelyn Williams and Rich Sells. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Shirley, sister Doris Mackey, grandson Toby Hazelip and great grandson Joe Richard Williams.

Funeral Services for Imogene are set for 2:00 P.M., Sunday, July 17, 2016 at the Mullican-Little Funeral Chapel in Bells/Savoy with Reverend Glynn Tyson officiating, burial will be at Carson Cemetery in Ector. Those serving as Pallbeares are Mack Sells, Dylan Anglin, Kevin Burks, Bo Harris, Jerry Williams, Rande Jones and Nick Shahan. The family will visit with friends Saturday from 6-7 P.M. at the Funeral Home. Memorials may be sent to the First Baptist Church, PO Box 248, Ector, Texas.
