June 6, 1941 –  October 28, 2016 Mr. Jack Robinson passed away at his Ector home on Friday, October 28, 2016 at the age of 75 years, 4 months and 3 days. Jack was born June 25, 1941 to parents, Olen Robinson and Hazel (Hill) Robinson. He was raised from the age of six by his “Mother Catherine”. Jack was a graduate of Whitewright High School. He spent his adult life serving his community in law enforcement. He was a Fannin County Chief Deputy Sheriff; he served in the police departments of Bells, Savoy, Bonham and Ector and was Chief of Police of Ector until his retirement. Jack was never idle, he also worked many years at the R&R Auto in Ector and was a 32nd Degree Mason and a member of the First Baptist Church of Whitewright.
Jack married his bride, Sydney Dugan on November 13, 1980 and they resided in Ector. Jack is survived by his wife, Sidney; children, Jackie Robinson & Beth of Arlington, John Robinson & Kim of Cherry Mound, Andrew Dugan & Olivia of Dallas, Eric Dugan of the Colony, Ronnette Goodman & Mike of Durant, Kathy Unger & David of Reseda, CA., and Traci Jeffrey & Tom of Bells. Seventeen grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren also survive him. He was preceded by his parents; brothers, Donnie, Jimmie and Johnny; sister, Peggy Fullerton and a son, Roger Ray Robinson as well as his loving grandparents, Jim and Hettie Robinson.

Funeral services for Jack are set for 11 A.M., Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at Mullican-Little Chapel in Bells/Savoy with Reverend Morris Cook officiating. Interment will be at Randolph Lindsey Cemetery with a Masonic service. Those serving as Pallbearers are Mike Goodman, Clifton Boyer, George Robinson, Anita Hudson, Jordan Russell, Taner Dugan, Clayton Brummett, Matt Neasbitt, Pate Hubbert, Blake Jordan, and Codi Krebbs. A family visitation is set for October 31, 2016 from 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
