December 17, 1955 –  March 15, 2013 Jerry Paul Elk was born December 17, 1955 in Sherman to parents, Robert “Bobby” Elk and Mary Adalene (Alston) Elk. He attended Savoy High School and was in the Concrete Construction Business. Jerry married Norma Ruth Whitfield on December 15, 1978 in Sherman. He was a Christian and a member of the Ambrose Baptist Church. Jerry loved his family, and his past time was playing lead guitar.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Norma; son, Jason and Loretta Elk of Denison; sister, Mary Ann Eldredge of Whitesboro; two precious grandchildren, Kaylie and Adalynn Elk of Denison; and two special nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.

A Graveside Service is planned for 2 p.m., Monday, March 18, 2013 at Carson Cemetery in Ector. The family wishes to have friends come by Mullican-Little Funeral Home an hour prior to the service in order to visit and then go to Ector for the service.
