April 17, 1942 –  November 12, 2013 Mr. Jimmy Ray Adams, 71 of Leonard, passed away on Tuesday, November 12, 2013. Memorial services are planned for 3:00 P.M. on Sunday, November 17 at the Genesis Church at 5780 Virginia Parkway, McKinney, Texas with Pastor Charlie Tuttle officiating. The service is under the direction of Mullican-Little Funeral Home of Bells/Savoy.
Military Honors for Jimmy will be conducted by the United States Navy.

Jimmy was a retired Texas-New Mexico Power Company District Manager, was a member of the First Methodist Church of Leonard, and the V.F.W. of Princton, Texas, and served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War.

Jimmy was born April 17, 1942 in Hugo, Oklahoma to parents, Herman Adams and Elvaria Ruth (Hicks) Adams. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother Alfred Milner; two sisters, Linda Bonner and Lou Price; and a son Terry Ray Adams Sr. He is survived by his four children; Jackie Lynn Murr of Denison, Texas; Suzette Denai Neary of Pensacola, Florida; Jimmy Ray Adams, Jr. of Pensacola, Florida and Tracy Rae Bartoo of Desert, Texas; sister, Ruth Ann Capehart of Savoy, Texas; 19 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
