May 18, 1929 –  July 22, 2014 Johnnie England was born May 18, 1929 in Sherman, Texas to Laura Mae Eyer and John Lewis Saltzman. She passed away on July 22, 2014 at age 85 at Mullican Care Center in Savoy, Texas.
Her working career began at Texas Telephone in Sherman for 6 years, Bonham Manufacturing for 4 years, and 17 years at Walker Pharmacy in Whitewright.

She was a very friendly jolly person who never seemed to have met a stranger. She got along so well with everyone.

She loved sports especially the Texas Rangers. She never missed watching a game whether they were winning or losing. She also was a fan of the Cowboys and Mavericks.

She married Jack England on October 12, 1951 in Durant, Oklahoma. She became a farm wife and drove tractors, cut stalks, and hauled grain to the local Whitewright Gin.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack of 54 years in 2006. Also, her parents and sisters Lola Saltzman and Doris Clinton of Sherman.

She is survived by her daughter Mary Lynn Robertson and husband Gerald of Longview, brothers John Saltzman of Savoy and Lewis Saltzman of Sherman, sister-in-law Juanita Kent of Whitewright as well as several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be Friday, July 25, 2014 at 10:00AM at Oak Hill Cemetery in Whitewright, Texas. Reverend Frank Rahm will officiate. Family visitation will be Thursday, July 24, 2014 from 6:00PM until 8:00PM at Mullican-Little Funeral Home in Bells/Savoy, Texas.

Thank you goes to Heart to Heart Hospice for their much-appreciated help during this difficult time.

And a very special thanks to everyone at Mullican Care Center in Savoy for the excellent care she received and for all the kindness and concern they have shown her.
