October 26, 1939 –  September 14, 2013 Kenneth Hudson age 73 passed away suddenly Saturday, September 14, 2013 due to heart complications. His family that he loved dearly was by his side. Kenneth was born October 26, 1939 in Ringling, Oklahoma the son of Hezzie and Ava Buxton Hudson. He married Anita Cates on December 19, 1991 in McKinney, Texas.
Kenneth started a lengthy law enforcement career with the City of Bells and retired from the Grayson County Sheriff’s Department in 2005. After his retirement he worked for Securitas, a private security company. Kenneth had a keen since of humor, which his friends pushed to the limits, but he had the serious side of life when it came to his family.

Kenneth is survived by his wife Anita Hudson of Denison, sons Mark Hudson and his wife Kristie of Bells, Kevin Hudson and his wife Robyn of Ravenna and Willie Reeder of Denison, brother Michael Hudson and his wife Kathy of Wichita Falls, sister-in-law Jan Rush of Tom Bean and grandchildren Kristopher and Jordon Hudson, Mystie, Brandon and Amber Tom and Autumn Doss. Also numerous nieces and nephews survive Kenneth. His parents, brothers Cecil and Jerry Hudson, sisters Ann Roberts and Dorothy Tidwell, preceded him in death.

Funeral services for Kenneth will be at 10:00AM Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at Mullican-Little Funeral Chapel in Bells/Savoy, Texas. Reverend Houston Garner of Hebron Baptist Church and Reverend Roger Braziel will officiate. Interment will follow in Hebron Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:30PM until 8:30PM Monday at the funeral home.

Casket bearers will be Wayne Martin, Larry Campbell, Jack Robinson, Don Nelms, Jaime Hubbard and David Hawley.
