November 24, 1931 –  June 11, 2013 Sanger – Mr. Kenneth R. Harvey, 81 year old Sanger resident, passed away on Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at Dallas Methodist Hospital. Funeral services are set for 12 Noon, Friday, June 14, 2013 at the Mullican-Little Funeral Chapel in Bells with Reverend John Payne officiating. Those serving as pallbearers for Mr. Harvey will be Michael Clark, Jeremy Harvey, Jeremy Brand, Eric Sullivan, and Tony Smith.
Kenneth was born November 24, 1931 in Ector, Texas to parents J.H. Harvey and Ommie Burchfield Harvey. He married Mary Lou Smith October 21, 1950 in Sherman, Texas. He retired in 1994 from Denton County as a Flood Inspector. He and Mary Lou were members of United Commercial Travelers Organization for 42 years.

Kenneth is survived by a son, Wayne Harvey and wife Karla of Sanger; two daughters, Brenda Glasscock and husband Ronnie of Longview; Sandra Edgar and husband Ricky of Lewisville; five grandchildren: Jennifer Glasscock, Candice and Jeremy Crane, Michael and Jessica Clark, Mandy Sullivan and husband Eric, and Jeremy Harvey. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Mary Lou (Smith) Harvey; five brothers and one sister.

The family will receive friends at the chapel from 6-8 P.M. on Thursday, June 13.
