Kimberly Kay Guffee, age 59, of Bells Texas passed away peacefully in her home on Wednesday, July 3, 2024. Kim was born in Aurora, Illinois on July 27, 1964. She was the daughter of Frances Rosenow and Peggy Blair.
Kim attended Kaneland High school of Maple Park, Illinois and worked most of her life in customer service, with 17 years dedicated to Cigna. She often participated within the community, helping with such things as toy runs, benefits, and always supported vendors at Abate rallies. Kim was a strong supporter of Abate and a lifetime member; she loved her biker family. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church of Denison, Texas. Kim was a loving sister, Mother, and Mimi.
Kim was preceded in death by her loving husband, Bruce Guffee. Together, they loved to ride motorcycles, and spend time with their friends and family. She was also preceded in death by her father, Frances Rosenow; sister, Kim Raley; son, Sean James; daughter, Jennifer Cunningham.
She is survived by her daughter, Lindy James of Denison; son, Collin James and fiancé Amber Smith of Denison; son, Kade Shipman of Everett, Washington; son, Michael Guffee and wife Tammy; daughter, Angela LeBlanc and husband Glenn, son, George Guffee and wife Bailey; grandchildren, Elijah Webster, Ember Lamar, and Maeci Yarborough, Stella Guffee, Emily and Noah; mother, Peggy Blair; sister, Penny Lovett; brother, Dalen Rosenow; sister, Callen Rosenow; along with extended family.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 9, 2024 from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Mullican Little Funeral Home 754 State Hwy 56 E. Bells, Texas 75414. Funeral service will be on Wednesday, July 10, 2024 at 3:00 PM at Mullican Little Funeral Home. Burial to follow at Rose Hill Cemetery.
I am so sorry for the loss of Kim. She was a generous person and loved her family dearly. I know she will be greatly missed. Prayers for her family for peace and comfort. God bless
