August 30, 1938 –  May 18, 2014 Lorene Barron passed away Sunday, May 18, 2014 at Presbyterian Health WNJ surrounded by her family. She was born August 30, 1938 in the Lannius Community to Walter and Lillian Springer Jones. Lorene married Truman Ray Barron on February 23, 1953 in Durant, Oklahoma.
Lorene was a member of the Living Word Church of God in Bonham for over 50 years and had retired as manager of the Savoy School Cafeteria. She graduated from Bonham High School.

Funeral services for Lorene will be at 11:00AM Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at the Living Word Church of God in Bonham, Texas. Reverend John Chisum will officiate. Interment will follow in Sunnyside Cemetery in Savoy, Texas. Arrangements are under the direction of Mullican-Little Funeral Home in Bells/Savoy, Texas.

Lorene is survived by her son Donald Barron and his wife Marsha of Bennington, OK, daughter Truanna Hickerson of Savoy, brothers Lonnie Jones and his wife Patsy and Thomas Jones and his wife Rachel, sisters Margie From and Bennie Martin, grandchildren Justin and Marcus Barron and Jeremy Hickerson. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband sister Wanda Mae Calhoun-Gilbert.

The family will receive friends from 10:00AM until 11:00AM on Wednesday at the church in Bonham.
