December 22, 1932 –  July 16, 2009 Louise graduated from Bells High School and received her BS degree from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. She received a MBA and Post Master in Vocational Education from East Texas State University now Texas A & M Commerce. At an early age, Louise accepted Jesus as her Savior and was baptized at First Baptist Church, Bells, Texas. She taught Sunday School from the age of 16 until her health failed. She worked for the Home Mission Board of Southern Baptist Convention in Spokane, Washington and worked another summer in San Jose, California.Louise taught school in Business Education and Office Education in Valley View, Killeen, Mt. Pleasant, Texarkana, Keller, and Castleberry in Ft. Worth., Texas. She was a supervisor for the Texas Education Agency in Office Education. She taught at Tarrant County Junior College, Northeast Campus. She retired as Assistant Professor of Vocational Education in the Secondary and Higher Education Department at East Texas State University in Commerce.
Louise’s real passion was visiting the shut-ins at home and the nursing homes. She made and collected porcelain dolls.
Louise was a former member of Delta Kappa Gamma, AVA, VOETAT, TSTA, and a member of First Baptist Church in Sherman.
