July 16, 1932 –  September 16, 2009 Services for Norman Jean Hughes will be Friday, September 18, 2009 at 10:00 A.M. at the Mullican-Little Chapel. Norma was born in Fannin County to parents, Ed and Lillie Bryson Winkler. She attended school at Savoy High School. She married Edison Leon Hughes on October 1, 1951 in Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband; brother, Alton Winkler & his wife Paula; brothers-in-law, John Ray, and Smiley Hensley.Jean is survived by son, Edison Hughes & wife Cheryl of Savoy; daughter, Debbie Martin & husband Eddie of Savoy; Sisters: Ann Ray, Louise Elk & husband Benny, Lena Faye Hensley, Brenda Brooks and husband Douglas; grandchildren: Courtney & Cassidy Hughes, Tracy Russell, Deanna Jones & husband Jeremy; great-grandchildren: Riley & Allie Russell, Taylor & Cash Jones; and several nieces & nephews.
Jean was a member of the Savoy Church of Christ.
