March 17, 1931 –  May 28, 2016 Graveside services for Norwood Koepsel will be held at 10:00AM Thursday, June 2, 2016 at Highland Cemetery in Junction City, Kansas. Reverend Art Farrow, Norwood’s son-in-law will officiate.
Norwood passed away on Saturday, May 28, 2016 at his daughter’s home in Whitewright, Texas.

Norwood was born on March 17, 1931 in Latimer, Kansas to Edward F. and Frances Kandt Koepsel. He married Peggy A. Noyes on December 18, 1955 in Junction City, Kansas. He owned and operated a barbershop for over 40 years before moving to Bells, Texas. He served in the U. S. Army during the Korean War and was Past President of the Board of Education of the Immanuel Lutheran School and also Past President of the Sertoma Club in Junction City. Norwood was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Bonham, Texas.

Norwood was preceded in death by his parents, wife Peggy and sons Norwood “Woody” Koepsel, Jr., Matthew Blaine Koepsel and Randal Koepsel.

He is survived by his daughter Pam Farrow and her husband Art of Whitewright, TX, grandchildren A. C. and Billie Farrow, Aaron C. and Helena Farrow, Austin C. and Valerie Farrow, Alexander C. Farrow and Ajha C. Farrow, great grandchildren Sidney, Nathaniel and Jayden Farrow.
