October 13, 1928 –  June 1, 2016 Ola Lea Hutchins House, age 87, of Whitewright, Texas, went to her heavenly home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on June 1, 2016. Graveside Services for Mrs. House are under the direction of Mullican-Little Funeral Home and will be at 2:00 P.M., Friday, June 3, 2016 at Oak Hill Cemetery, Whitewright, with Reverend Houston Garner officiating.
Ola was born on October 13, 1928 in Savoy, Texas to Johnnie and Ida (Statzer) Hutchins. Ola was always scholarly, she was even the Valedictorian of her Savoy Senior Class. She was a member of Hebron Baptist Church and had worked at several companies during her working years; the Bonham Cotton Mill, the Whitewright Sewing Factory, T.I., and finally at the Savoy ISD Cafeteria. She married James Buford House on May 17, 1947 and they were blessed with two sons, Lonnie Buford and Bobby “Bud” Ray, and one daughter, Martha. She was a member of the Hebron Baptist Church for many years.

Ola was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four brothers, two sisters and two grandchildren. She is survived by her sons Lonnie and wife Cindy of Van Alstyne; Bobby “Bud” and wife Donna of Sherman; daughter, Martha Foster and husband John of Greenville, Texas. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren: Terry Don House and wife LaVonda; Scott House; Dustin House and wife Rebecca; Johnny Foster and wife Jennifer; Kerrie Smith and husband Jerry; Brent Foster and wife Christie; Jeremy House and wife Jennifer; Jason House and wife Jessica; Taylor House and Drew House. Eighteen great grandchildren and two great-great grandsons survive her as well as siblings, Mary Ann Martin of Bells, Francis Wilson of MaBank, Lewis Hutchins of Bonham and several nieces and nephews.

The family will greet friends at Mullican-Little Funeral Home in Bells/Savoy from 6-8 P.M., Thursday, June 2, 2016.
