November 23, 1946 –  November 26, 2009 Ray attended Booker T. Washington School and graduated in 1965. He married Shirley Ransom on October 25, 1965. Ray was employed as an installer and repairman for 29 years at G.T.E. in Bonham, Texas. He was a faithful member of New Life Church of God In Christ and was active in the Brotherhood. Ray was an active sponsor of the AA Texoma Group in Denison.
