A much-loved husband, daddy and papaw, Roy Glen Kellogg, 70 of Bells, Texas passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on Sunday, April 21, 2019. He was born September 9, 1948 in Shreveport, LA. to Theo and Bertha Murphy Kellogg.

Roy married the love of his life, Carmen on May 3, 1968. Carmen proved her love, strength, patience and humor for just shy of 51 years. The second love of his life was his four girls. He was a proud daddy and always made sure the girls knew it.

Roy’s favorite pastime was fishing with anyone who would go with him. His most favorite times; however, were spent with his family including his grand and great grandchildren and he cherished every moment with them.

Roy is survived by his wife of Carmen Kellogg of Bells, Texas; daughters, Tammy Williams and husband John of Sherman, Texas;  Angie Kellogg of Whitewright, Texas; Carmen Hall and husband Scott of Bells, Texas; Anita Brown and husband Tony of Bells, Texas; granddaughter Heather Hall and fiancé Dusty Parks of Denison, Texas; grandson Justin Williams and wife Jessy of Germany; granddaughter, Haley Osborne of Sherman, Texas; granddaughter, Cryslyn Bradshaw and husband O.J. of Luella, Texas; granddaughter, Briana Johnson and fiancé Eddie Collins of Sherman, Texas; grandson Johnny Johnson and wife Miranda of Luella, Texas; grandson, Christopher Hall of Bells, Texas; grandson, Dylan Hall of Bells, Texas; granddaughter, Kaitlyn Brown of Sherman, Texas; grandson, Lane Brown of Bells, Texas; eight great-grandchildren; sisters, Helen Cook of Paris, Texas; Ellen Gonzales of Sherman, Texas; Maudie Mason of Ayden, North Carolina; and Joyce Calendar of Indian Hill, Tennessee; brother, John Kellogg of Livingston, Louisiana; and many nieces, nephews and a host of family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Theo “The Cat” and Bertha Lee Kellogg; twin sister, Lois Helms; sisters, Gladys King, Margine Kellogg, Jeanette Adams; brothers, Willie, Theo and Bobby Kellogg.

A memorial service will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, April 26, 2019 at Mullican-Little Funeral Home, 754 State Hwy 56 East, Bells, Texas 75414. Inurnment will follow at Rosehill Cemetery in Bells. Directly after the inurnment the family invites you to 102 Frio St Bells, Texas 75414 for a small gathering with food, and fellowship. The family will receive friends for a visitation from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Thursday, April 25, 2019 at the Kellogg residence, 812 W. McFarland Rd, Bells, Texas, 75414.
