Condolences from Linda Bowen Lewis and family:
It’s difficult to express what an important role Roy & Wanda played in my life for the many, many years I knew them. Roy managed our family ranch and then remained a lifelong friend to me, especially during my childhood years when my dearest friend, Sally, and I spent so much time at the ranch. He was endlessly patient, kind, and one of the funniest men I’ve ever known. Rest in Peace, Roy. You’ve earned it— I’ll always miss your smile and chuckle.
Sorry for y’all’s loss! Lots of fond memories. Roy was an exceptional man. I’m grateful I had the opportunity to know him.

Roy was a wonderful person. Prayers to his family
I’m sorry to learn of Roy’s passing.
I worked with Roy off and on for over 30 years. He was a man of integrity and honor. When life dished out pain and disappointment, he seemed to cope with it all better than anyone I have ever met. I think his wry sense of humor was a big asset in those times. The State of Texas should be pretty darn proud of having raised a man of this caliber.
Very sorry to hear of Roy’s passing. He was a great man that I had a lot of respect for.
I have known Roy and his family since the 80’s. He would greet you with the biggest smile. He treated everyone the same. It didn’t matter if you were VIP or the janitor. I thought alot of him and had deep respect. He was truly a good man and I’m proud to have known him.
