October 15, 1942 –  June 21, 2015 Ruth Ann Duckworth was born October 15, 1942 in Blue Ridge, Texas to Bill and Nealie Smith Atteberry. On March 23, 1966 she married James Alva Duckworth. Ruth Ann passed away Sunday, June 21, 2015 at her home with her family by her side.
Ruth Ann was a member of Snow Hill Baptist Church and had worked at Texas Instruments in Dallas and was a Nurse Aide at the Whitewright Nursing Home.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00PM Saturday, June 27, 2015 at Snow Hill Baptist Church. Reverend John Floyd will officiate.

Ruth Ann is survived by her son Butch Duckworth and his wife Rhonda of Whitewright, sister Iva Mills of Arlington, grandchildren Taelor and Baelee Duckworth and step-grandchildren Kyle Duke and Colby Coward. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband James and son James Alva Duckworth II.
