W. L. Roberson went to see the Lord on July 31, 2017, after a lengthy illness. He is in Heaven with his Lord. Now be happy for him. Lee was born May 2, 1949 in Akron, Ohio to William and Helen Sexton Roberson. On November 22, 1980 he married Georgia Shields in Savoy, Texas.
Lee was a tool and die cast maker and a graduate of Sherman High School. He was a proud member of the NRA and also a member of the Ector United Methodist Church. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War receiving the National Defense Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Combat Action Ribbon and the Navy Unit Commendation.

Funeral services for Lee will be at 10:00AM Thursday, August 3, 2017 at the Ector United Methodist Church in Ector, Texas. Reverend Dee Morton will officiate. Burial with Military Honors will be held immediately following at Fairview Cemetery.

Lee is survived by his wife Georgia of the home, sons Rusty Roberson and his wife Julie of Howe and Randy Roberson and his wife Mindy of Savoy, brother Richard Roberson and his wife LuAnn of Sherman, sister Sandy Dodson and her husband Dr. Ronald Dodson of Tyler and grandchildren Thomas Lee Roberson, Hunter Daniel Roberson and William Wyatt Roberson.

The family will receive friends from 6:00PM until 8:00PM Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at Mullican-Little Funeral Home in Bells/Savoy, Texas.
