September 17, 1941 –  March 22, 2013 William P. Crafton
William P. Crafton, 71, died March 22, 2013 at his daughter’s home in Bells, Texas. Mr. Crafton was born September 17, 1941 in Bridgeport, Alabama to James Woodrow Crafton and Jessie Rebecca Wilson. In 1959 he joined the U.S. Army. After his service, he began a career as a truck driver. He traveled all over the United States and Canada. In the early 1970’s he took a position with “Big E” Industries in Buckeye, Arizona. In 1976 he was transferred to Denison, Texas. He spent his time off with his children in the outdoors, riding motorcycles, fishing and hunting.

He loved all of his family with all of his heart. Survivors include, daughter Billie Carter and her husband Lance of Bells, sisters Gail Meister and family of Abilene, and Debbie Dunbar and family of Spring, TX, brother James Crafton of Nashville, TN and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

His is preceded in death by his mother Jessie Rebecca Brombaugh, stepfather Dale Brambaugh, sons Troy Wayne and Paul Wade Crafton, daughters Inga Marie Moore and Rebecca Dalene Knight, brothers Vurlon Boyd and Carl Clifford Crafton.

The family will be having a private memorial service at a later date. Special thanks to his nurses Anne Marmaduke and Christy Wagoner with ABC Hospice.
