May 21, 1930 –  February 2, 2014 Lucy Lanora Savage, 83 year old Bells resident, went home to be with her Heavenly Father on Sunday, February 2, 2014. Funeral Services for Lucy are set for 1:00 P.M., Wednesday, February 5, 2014, at the First Baptist Church of Bells with Reverend Bill Neal officiating, and the Deacons of the Church serving as Pallbearers. Burial will be at 11:15 A.M., Thursday, February 6, 2014 at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery with Grandchildren serving as Pallbearers. The Family Visitation will be from 6-8 P.M. on Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at the Bells First Baptist Church.
Lucy was born May 21, 1930 in Durant, Oklahoma to parents Tinsley and Jimmie (Murry) Kidd. She married Freddie Savage on June 22, 1949 in Bonham, Texas. She was a very active and long time member of the First Baptist Church of Bells, Texas. She was an awesome homemaker, loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend to many.

Lucy is survived by her husband of 64 years, Freddie H. Savage; two sons, Jim Savage and wife Wendy, and Gary Savage and wife Debe; daugher, Debbie Huffines and husband Ronnie; 15 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She was preceded by her parents, one brother and one sister.
