Marcella June Walden, age 65 was called home on September 3, 2023 after a hard fought battle with cancer. June was born to James and Shirley Moore on June 10, 1958 in Dallas, Texas. She graduated from Brewer High School in 1976 and went on to attend TCU in Fort Worth. She married her soulmate Wayman Walden on October 27, 1979 in Fort Worth, Texas. They moved their family to Georgia in 1989, then to North Carolina in 1998, and finally they settled back down in Bells, Texas in 2008 where she worked at Sam’s Club until she retired in January 2022. She’s preceded in death by her parents, James and Shirley Moore. She is survived by her husband, Wayne; daughter, Jennifer and husband Curtis; son, James; grandchildren, Ethan, Hunter, and Abby; sister, Cathy, and husband, Bob; brother, Robert; and lots of nieces, nephews, and friends she called family. Will forever be known for her big smile, and even bigger heart. Memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Mullican Little Funeral Home 754 State Hwy 56 E. Bells, Texas 75414.

  4. We met in 6th grade and we became friends. She was the best friend you could have ask for. She became more than a friend she was more like a sister and her family became my family. I loved her so much. I know she is in heaven with her Mom and Dad watching over her family. She will be greatly missed
