Milton Jacob Pugh, Jr. passed away on June 12, 2025.  He was born September 29, 1946 to Milton Jacob Pugh, Sr and Evelyn (McHone) Pugh in Bells, Texas. Milton his survived by his wife of 61 years, Georgia (Jackson) Pugh; two siblings, Dan Pugh and (Donna), and Beverly Pugh and Don Gallego. Milton had two sons, Brian Pugh (Denise), and Jason Pugh (Sandy). He had four grandchildren, Kailey Kuhn  (Tyler), Jacob Pugh  (Brooklyn),Katelin Pugh, and Steven Crawford. Special cousin, Linda Rolen. He had three great grandchildren, Christian and Christa Kuhn and Kamden Pugh; two nephews, Brandon and Justin Pugh. Milton was preceded in death by his parents, Milton J. Pugh, Sr. and Evelyn Pugh and his grandparents. Milton enjoyed hunting and fishing with his sons and grandson. Milton enjoyed working with his dad and son raising cattle on the family farm.  He loved to work in his garden and tinker with things around the house. Milton worked at TXU Valley Power Plant and retired after 33 years. Milton looked forward to meeting with his old friends from Valley once a month at Braums for breakfast. Milton was a member of the First Baptist Church in Savoy. Visitation will be Monday, June 16, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Mullican Little Funeral Home 754 State Hwy 56 E. Bells, Texas 75414. Funeral service will be Tuesday, June 17, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Mullican Little Funeral Home. Pallbearers are Brian Pugh, Jacob Pugh, Jason Pugh, Brandon Pugh, David Farris, Bobby Jackson. Honorary pallbearers are David Sears, Justin Pugh, Roy Reed. Officiating will be James Seigler, retired pastor and Chris Merritt, pastor of First Baptist Church, Savoy.

      As much as we grieve for our loved ones, God’s plan is beyond all miracles.

  3. I will dearly miss Milton’s wicked sense of humor mixed with a heavy dose of common sense. What a treasure he was to family and friends. His legacy lives on. My prayers for you, Georgia, Brian and Jason. Will always remember Milton, Brian and Jacob crammed in the farm truck cab passing after checking on their cows. What a sweet picture!
