Born in: Amarillo, Texas

Wesley Joe Walker, 69, of Savoy, Texas, passed away on June 24, 2026.
Wesley Joe was a man who lived with his own unique style, a generous spirit, and a laugh that could brighten any room. Known for his signature mullet haircut and sense of humor, he had a way of making people feel comfortable and welcomed wherever he went. He never met a stranger and could strike up a conversation and friendship with just about anyone.
Music was one of his greatest passions. For many years, he played classic rock music with friends he had known since his youth, creating lifelong memories and bonds through the songs they shared. Whether performing, practicing, or simply enjoying music with friends, those moments brought him great joy.
While Wesley Joe was not always one to openly express his feelings, his family and friends knew without question that he cared deeply for them. His love was often shown through his presence, his loyalty, and the countless ways he looked out for those he loved. His kindness, humor, and friendship touched many lives and will be remembered by all who knew him.
Wesley Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Rayford and Ouida Walker, and his brother Don Walker.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Loretha Walker; his sons, Shane Bell and wife Misty, Chris Walker, James Walker and wife Stefanie; his grandchildren, Patrick Bell, Ashlie and Cody Bradley, Brooklynn Bell, Hannah Walker, Emma Sky Walker, Tyler Walker, David Walker, Macey Walker, Morgan Walker, Riley Walker, and Madison Walker; his great grand-granddaughter, Finely Bradley; and his siblings, Bruce and Kaye Walker and Jeannine and JR Jenkins.
Though our hearts are heavy with loss, we take comfort in the memories Wesley Joe leaves behind– the music he played, the laughter he shared, the friendships he built, and the love he carried in his own quiet way. His legacy will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know him
Forever loved, Forever missed, and Forever remembered.
