Arthur Boatright

August 16, 1914 -  September 5, 2005 Mr. Boatright was a longtime resident of Bells where he served as mayor from 1964 to 1966. He was a navigator of a B-52 during WW II. After the war he was a surveyor and worked as a pipefitter until his retirement in 1982. Mr. Boatright had a strong athletic ability, he was scouted by the St. Louis Cardinal Baseball Club in 1933 and 1934.
