November 13, 1919 –  December 24, 2010 Homer served in the U.S. Army and was in Germany when WW II ended. He returned to Texas to farm north of Savoy but opted to work for Temco in Garland. He retired to Ravenna, TX with Maurine. After Maurine’s death, he moved to the V A Nursing Center in Bonham where he enjoyed friends and family. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
