Hazel Melton

April 9, 1918 -  January 12, 2011 Services for Mrs. Hazel Melton of Richardson, formerly of Bells, will be conducted Saturday at 11 A.M. at the Mullican-Little Chapel with Rev. Thomas Beall officiating. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Bells. Hazel was born April 9, 1918 to parents, John Beard & Jennie (Abernathy) Beard in Ida, Texas. She married Lones Claude "L.C." Melton on October 26, 1936 in Clyde, TX. Mr. Melton preceded her in 1987. Hazel was a member of the Antioch Baptist Church and a retired waitress. She had lived in Richardson for several years. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 6-7 p.m.
