October 16, 1923 –  May 1, 2014 Mr. Doyce N. Worsham passed from this life on Thursday, May 01, 2014 at the Mullican-Care Center in Savoy, Texas. Doyce was born in Leonard, Texas on October 16, 1923 to James Alvin and Mary Isabel (Bradshaw) Worsham. He was a 1942 graduate of Whitewright High School. He married Robbie Mullican in 1945 in Trenton, Texas. He and Robbie were members of the Whitewright Methodist church for many years before her death in 2011. Doyce was a retired manager from Carl’s Tasty Sausage in Whitewright, which was a major source of employment to citizens of the Whitewright area.
Doyce is survived by his son, Jimmy Worsham and wife Jan of Whitewright; daughter, Jana Kemp and husband John of Carrollton, Texas; two granddaughters, Angela Kemp, and Jennifer Johnson and husband Brandon; and one great great granddaughter, Bayli Johnson. He was preceded by his parents; wife, Robbie; and two sisters, Lorene Alexander and Oleta Owens.

Graveside services and burial are set for 11:00 A.M., Saturday, May 3, 2014 at Oak Hill Cemetery in Whitewright where he will be laid to rest next to his wife, Robbie. Reverend Frank Rahm of the Whitewright Methodist Church will officiate the service and Mullican-Little Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.

A visitation with the family is set for 7-8 P.M., Friday, May 2, 2014 at the Mullican-Little Funeral Home in Bells.
