September 22, 1948 –  November 5, 2014 Mr. James Edward McAdams passed away Wednesday, November 5, 2014 in Cartwright, Oklahoma. Funeral services for James are set for 1:00 P.M., Sunday, November 9, 2014 at Mullican-Little Funeral Chapel in Bells, Texas with burial at Rose Hill Cemetery in Bells. Reverend Don Neal will officiate.
James was born September 22, 1948 in McKinney, Texas to parents, John McAdams and Dovie (McMahan) McAdams. He married Annette Odle on November 21, 1980 in Princeton, Texas. James served his country in the United States Army and was a retired Postal Clerk from the United States Postal Service in Richardson, Texas.

James is survived by five sons, William Boatwright of Canyon Lake, Roy Boatwright of Little Elm, Jason Boatwright of Oak Point, Terry Boatwright of Cartwright, Ok. and James McAdams of Ponca City, Ok.; two daughters, Donna Bailey of Beaumont and Darla McAdams of Cartwright, Ok; three brothers, Donald McAdams of Leonard, Ricky McAdams of Anna, and Merle McAdams; one sister, Ruth Melby of Sherman and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. James was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Annette.

The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 P.M. on Saturday, November 8, 2014 at the funeral home.
