Donelda Maud Bradley of Bells, Texas passed away peacefully at her home on September 2, 2020.
Donelda was born to Sid and Toye (Smith) Daugherty in Walton, West Virginia on September 29, 1939. She was the first born of seven children. She grew up in Ohio in Orwell and Rome.
Donelda married Clarence Bradley on June 16, 1956 in Rome, Ohio. They were happily married for 64 years. She met Clarence in his family’s strawberry patch when she was 14 years old. They were married 4 years later after Clarence got out of the military.
They owned and operated Bradley’s Diner in Orwell, Ohio for years. She also was a licensed cosmetologist who had her own salon. She was a loving wife and the best mom ever that had a “wicked” sense of humor.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Sid and Toye; brother, Larry Daugherty; sister, Debbie Scharnberg; brother in law, Buddy Waller; her in laws, Ernest and Kate Bradley; sister in law, Ernestine
Emerson and husband Gordon; sister in law, June Durrant and husband Harry.
She is survived by her husband, Clarence Dennis Bradley of Bells, Texas; sons, Randolph L Bradley and wife Donna of Bells, Texas; Christopher A. Bradley and wife Susan of Georgetown, Texas; grandsons, Benjamin Bradley and wife Alison of Copley, Ohio, Brandin Hill and wife Caitlin of Kinsman, Ohio; 5 great-grandchildren; sisters, Helen Hughes and husband Jim of Florida, Shirley Ackley and husband Shad of Florida, Wanda Waller 0f Ashtabula, Ohio; brother, Albert Daugherty and wife Harriet

I am so sorry to hear about this. I never met her but know she had a wonderful sense of humor! She was very much loved by her family and they will have wonderful memories of this amazing woman.
