Mary Elsa States

Mary Elsa (Leach) States of Savoy, Texas passed away peacefully on June 8, 2022 at Texoma Medical Center, Denison, Texas She was the third child born to Loretta Liniewicz and James Leach on November 14, 1948 in Trenton, New Jersey. In 1980, she came to North Texas and later settled in Savoy. Mary was an Electrical Engineer and Draftsman of Kone Elevators and Fisher Controls She survived by her brothers, Marty Leach and wife Mary; Frederick Leach and wife Elizabeth; sister, Donna Gasser, all in Pennsylvania; children, Lisa Stowe and husband David of New Haven, Missouri; Becky (States) Brooks of Savoy; James States and wife Megan of Cartwright, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Jonathan, Megan, Savannah, Elizabeth, Michael, Hannah, Colton, Tristan, Kylie, Eris; great grandchildren, Karina, Gentry, Leland, Koen, Bryson, Forrest. A Memorial service will be held on Friday, June 10, 2022 at 6:00 PM at First Baptist Church, Savoy 207 South Ashford Street Savoy, Texas 75479.
