Cathy “Cat” Carr Waldrip went to be with her Lord on Monday, April 28, 2025. Cathy was born July 22, 1952 in Fort Worth, Texas to Wallace and Betty (Kuykendall) Carr. She graduated from Bells High School and was a member of Antioch Baptist Church. She married Randy Waldrip on March 5, 1971.

Cathy’s passion for life was being a hairdresser for over 50 years. She loved each of her customers as much as they loved her. Cathy always will be remembered for her smile and kindness towards everyone she ever met. She never met a stranger. She was never ashamed to tell others about her Lord and give Him praise, and she will now forever be praising the Lord and is at peace and healed.

Cathy is survived by her husband, Randy Waldrip of 54 years; son, Michael Waldrip and wife Emily; daughter, Sara Jenkins and husband Brad; her three precious grandchildren, Grace Jenkins, John Jenkins, and Emma Waldrip. She loved each of them so much and was so very proud of them.

Cathy was preceded in death by her parents, Wallace and Betty Carr; sister, Cindy Carr.

Graveside service will be held Thursday, May 1, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Rose Hill Cemetery Bells, Texas. Bishop Larry Joe Goodman will officiate.

The family of Cathy would like a special thank you to Jaycee Little for bringing laughter and smiles each week to Cat over the last several months. Cathy truly loved their visits.
