January 29, 1912 –  December 21, 2004 Francis died of natural causes in Kerville on December 21. He lived in Houston from 1939 to 1997 and was retired from the T.& N.O./Southern Pacific Railroad.In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in his name to the Shriners Childrens Hospital, 6977 Main, Houston, TX 77030.
