November 9, 1927 –  January 6, 2006 Harrison was a graduate of Bells High School and served in the U.S. Navy. On September 27, 1946 he married Bobbie Skipworth. As a young man Harrison worked at Pennignton Lumber Co. for many years developing an unmatched skill in woodworking. He joined the Grayson Co. Sheriff’s Dept. in 1964, working under four sheriffs, and devoting more than thirty years of service. He was a member and deacon of Antioch Baptist Church and a 32 degree Mason of the Bells Masonic Lodge.
