Jacob “Jake” Waldrip, 43, loving husband, father, son, brother and friend went home to his heavenly father on Sunday, October 1, 2023. He leaves behind his family whom he loved beyond words.

Jacob was a very hard-working family man who enjoyed the outdoors including fishing, hunting, and riding ATVs. He loved watching football especially when his sons were playing, working on anything broken in his shop, watching movies with his daughter on weekend mornings and hanging out on Sunday afternoons in his Dad’s shop watching sports and talking with his Dad and uncles. He loved arguing with his sister about anything and joking around with his parents. Jacob was dearly loyal, always kept his word and taught his children to earn everything. He was extremely proud of his kids and loved attending their games and school events. Most of all, he worked so hard to give his family a good life with so many great memories. He often said “I love our life.”

Jacob was born August 28, 1980 in Sherman, Texas to Tommy and Janet Waldrip. He graduated from Bells High School in 1998 and was an integral member of several playoff football team. He continued his studies to finish his Associates Degree. He married his soul mate, Heather Michelle Nobles, on May 29, 2004 and raised his family in Bells while working at Grayson Collin Electric Coop for over eighteen years.

He leaves to mourn his passing, his wife, Heather, his three amazing children, Cole, Grady and Kate, his parents Tommy and Janet Waldrip of Bells, Texas, his sister Karen Waldrip of Keller, Texas and many uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
