December 1, 1914 –  October 12, 2006 Mrs. Carter was born in the Pink Hill Community. She attended Pink Hill School and graduated from Bells High School. Mrs. Carter was employed by Texas Instruments and retired in 1975. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Bells.
