September 1, 1960 –  May 1, 2013 Rebecca Mathis Maret was born September 1, 1960 to Rebecca Claudette (Bond) Bateman and Robert Lynn Mathis at Wilson N. Jones Hospital in Sherman, Texas. She passed away at her home in Denison on May 1, 2013.
Becky worked at Beall’s Department Store and K-Mart for many years in Management. She attended Grayson County College, majoring in Business Management.

She was devoted to her family, especially to her mother, son and sisters. She was of the Catholic Faith and resided in Denison. She wished to be cremated and there will be a Celebration of her life with family and friends at her home at a later date.

Becky is survived by her son, Joshua Maret; the father of her son, James Robert (Bob) Maret; mother and stepfather, David and Claudette Bateman; sisters, Lezlea Bridges, Jerri Mathis and Crystal Cox; brother, Jesse Mathis; nieces, Shelley Bridges, Whitney Cox, Kyliee and Kenzleigh Simms, and Bella Hernandez; nephews, Matthew Simms, Jake Cox, Julian Hernandez and Kaden Hernandez.
